Chicken – Cooking Tips

Only Chicken Breast, skinless and boneless is permitted under the HCG protocol in Phase 1 Weight Loss. No other poultry may be substituted for Chicken and no other part of the Chicken may be eaten as its fat content is too high.

100g of Chicken Breast though is surprisingly substantial. You can use mince, fillets or strips. The best method of cooking chicken without using oil is in a Teflon double pan as it remains very moist provided you cook it on a low temperature. It will take about 10 minutes for a 100g skinless fillet and a little less time for strips or mince.

Using the above cooking method, try the following combinations:

1. Cajun – Paprika, Cumin, Thyme, Oregano, Sage, Parsley, Garlic, Pepper

2. Oriental – Garlic, Ginger, Lime, Coriander

3. Greek – Oregano, Parsley, Nutmeg, Garlic, Basil, Thyme, Cinnamon

4. Turmeric, Cardamom, Dill, S&P
