P2/3 Trouble Shooting Tutorial

Early in P2 some over enthusiastic dieters experience weight gain as a result of either trying to ‘play it safe’ or actually trying to lose more weight.

It is undesirable that more than 1 kg (2 lbs) be lost after treatment as it is always normal fat that’s lost. Any normal fat that is lost is invariably regained as soon as more food is taken, and it often happens that this rebound overshoots the 1 kg (2 lbs) upper limit.

It is imperative that you allow your brain to stabilize at your new weight-set-point which should be within 1 kg (2 lbs) of your LWD.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_single_image image="13064" img_link_target="_self" img_size="full"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_single_image image="13065" img_link_target="_self" img_size="full"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]DO NOT attempt to lose more weight in P2 Stabilization.

People who continue to diet in P2 usually continue to limit protein.

During P1 you have had the advantage of protein being fed back into your system by the breakdown of fatty tissue. In the absence of HCG this no longer happens therefore you must increase the amount of protein from P2 Day 1.

Protein deficiency results in water retention and weight gain.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]What to do if you experience weight gain due to protein deficiency:

Breakfast – 2 eggs (no toast though – you need to stick to the no starchy carbs i.e. no bread, or sugar rule)

Lunch – a huge steak

Dinner – another huge steak plus a large helping of cheese

The following morning you will be rewarded with a massive drop of 1 kg (2 lbs).

Despite your best effort, the scales gradually creep up above 1 kg (2 lbs) over your LWD achieved on either Day 23 of the 26 day program or Day 40 of the 43 day program (or the last day of HCG application three days prior to ceasing P1).

On the same day as the scales register an increase in weight of more than 1 kg (2 lbs) of your LWD you MUST do a STEAK DAY ...[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]THE STEAK DAY

Breakfast – skip it altogether

Lunch – skip it altogether

Dinner – eat a huge steak with either a raw tomato or raw apple

The following morning you will experience a drop in weight of around ½ kg (1 lb).

NOTE: The phenomenon does not take place if you have a light meal for either breakfast or lunch. You MUST skip them entirely.

If you have exhausted your abnormal fat in P1, you will experience weight gain in P2.

When you experience hunger and weakness during P1 it can be because (1) HCG is not genuine (2) it is not being delivered in a therapeutic dose (3) you developed immunity to HCG because you had more than 30 consecutive doses (4) you exhausted your abnormal fat reserves and weight lost was at the expense of normal fat. HCG is self-limiting. You cannot lose fat that’s not there to be lost.

In every case you should report hunger and weakness to your physician.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]After you have successfully got through P3 and are still within 1 kg (2 lbs) of your LWD you will be surprised just how much you can eat without gaining weight.

If at some future point the scales do creep up above the permissible upper limit, the STEAK DAY can be done with the same effectiveness.

It is essential that you continue to weigh yourself daily – in the morning before you eat or drink anything, after you empty your bladder and bowel, naked with dry hair. Even on holidays make sure to bring your travel or bathroom scales.

Don’t become complaisant.
