Ingredients
100g lean Beef steak, cut into 2cm cubes
1 Onion
1 Tbsp Cumin
2 cloves Garlic, minced
juice of 1/2 Lemon
salt
pepper
Parsley garnish
2 bamboo skewers
Method
- Soak the bamboo skewers in water
- Marinate the beef cubes in cumin, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper
- Cut the onion into eighths
- Dry fry the onion pieces in a Teflon pan turning to brown on all sides - about 6 - 7 minutes
- Take the onion off the heat, set aside and allow to cool
- When the onion can be handled, thread the beef cubes and onion alternately on the skewers
- Dry fry the kebabs in a Teflon pan turning to cook on all sides - about 10 minutes in total
- Serve with parsley garnish and the juice from the marinade
