100g lean Beef steak, cut into 2cm cubes

1 Onion

1 Tbsp Cumin

2 cloves Garlic, minced

juice of 1/2 Lemon



Parsley garnish

2 bamboo skewers


  1. Soak the bamboo skewers in water
  2. Marinate the beef cubes in cumin, garlic, lemon juice, salt and pepper
  3. Cut the onion into eighths
  4. Dry fry the onion pieces in a Teflon pan turning to brown on all sides - about 6 - 7 minutes
  5. Take the onion off the heat, set aside and allow to cool
  6. When the onion can be handled, thread the beef cubes and onion alternately on the skewers
  7. Dry fry the kebabs in a Teflon pan turning to cook on all sides - about 10 minutes in total
  8. Serve with parsley garnish and the juice from the marinade
