Beef Patty with Daikon Radish

Beef Patty Ingredients

  • 100g lean Beef mince
  • 1 Grissini Stick OR Melba Toast, crumbled
  • 1 cup grated Daikon Radish
  • 1 Shallot, cut into rounds
  • salt
  • pepper

Ponzu Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Tamari Sauce (or Braggs Liquid Aminos) ('soy' substitute)
  • juice of 1/2 Lemon
  • 1 Tbsp Vinegar


  1. Put the beef mince in a bowl with the crumbled grissini stick, salt and pepper. Mix well. Form into a patty
  2. Put the patty in a pre-heated Teflon pan. Fry each side for about 3 to 4 minutes or until cooked
  3. Prepare the Ponzu sauce. Mix the ingredients well
  4. Put the beef patty on a serving plate. Place the grated daikon on top of the beef patty, pour the Ponzu sauce over the beef patty and garnish with Shallot pieces

NOTE: DO NOT eat another grissini stick with this meal.
