Ingredients
100g lean Chicken mince (can substitute with lean beef mince)
1 Tbsp Garlic, minced
1 Tbsp Parsley, chopped
½ tsp Cardamom
½ tsp Cumin
¼ tsp Sumac
salt
pepper
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl place all ingredients, mix thoroughly
- Form into balls
- Dry fry in Teflon pan on medium heat, turning to brown all 6 sides
NOTE: The above version is Middle Eastern. You can make other variations by changing the herbs and spices
Hungarian: garlic onion flakes and paprika
Italian: garlic oregano and parsley
Indian: garlic turmeric cumin and chili
Asian: garlic shallot ginger coriander OR basil
Chicken balls go well with mushrooms, spinach, tomato, broccoli or cabbage and, because there's so little fat in this P1 recipe, they are best in soups or served with sauces.
