Cottage Cheese in Grilled Tomato Flowers


  • 100g Skim Milk Cottage Cheese
  • 2 ripe Tomatoes
  • 1 Shallot, finely chopped
  • Basil garnish
  • salt
  • pepper


  1. Cut the tomatoes into 'flowers' as in the picture. Place them under a pre-heated grill for 10 minutes
  2. Put the cottage cheese in a mixing bowl together with the shallot, salt and pepper. Mix well
  3. Put and equal amount of cottage cheese mixture in the middle of the tomato flowers
  4. Garnish with basil and serve warm
