Skewer of Garlic Prawns


  • 100g Prawns, peeled and de-veined
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Parsley garnish
  • squeeze of Lemon juice
  • 2 bamboo skewers


  1. Soak the bamboo skewers in water for about 10 minutes
  2. Rub the prawns with garlic
  3. Thread onto 2 bamboo skewers
  4. Dry fry in Teflon pan a couple of minutes each side till cooked
  5. Take off the heat and rest
  6. Serve with parsley garnish and a squeeze of lemon juice

 NOTE: Be careful not to over cook prawns as it continues to cook after the heat is turned off.

Try some variations: Add chili, coriander, basil and/or curry powder
