Stewed Apple with Clove and Cinnamon


  • 1 Apple, cored
  • 4 - 5 whole Cloves pierced into the apple
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon powder


  1. Prepare your steamer with water
  2. Place the apple pierced with cloves in the steamer. Bring water to the boil. Steam for about 7 - 8 minutes over boiling water then, when soft remove from heat
  3. Put the apple on a serving plate, sprinkle with cinnamon
  4. Serve hot
