If the interruption will be more than four days but less than two weeks cease HCG application. Continue 500 calorie Skinny Meals for three more days. On the fourth day continue with P1 Skinny Meals but increase your calories to 800 per day. This is achieved by having some extra meat, eggs, cheese and milk. When you get back home start where you left off – take your HCG again and revert to 500 calorie per day Skinny Meals.

If the interruption will be more than two weeks cease HCG application and continue 500 calorie Skinny Meals for three more days. On the fourth day eat as if you are in P2 Stabilization – i.e. normal calories comprising proteins, fats and veggies BUT NO starchy carbs or sugar. Review the P2 Stabilization slideshow.

If you want to resume the diet when you get home, take or apply your HCG, eat ‘normally’ for two days i.e. do a mini gorge – eat everything but in a normal quantity. On the third day resume 500 calorie per day diet.

NOTE: Ending P1 earlier than Day 21 may prevent you from successfully maintaining your new weight.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]The Planned Trip

If the interruption is in four days time, cease using your HCG three days prior to departure and continue 500 calorie per day Skinny Meals until your departure day.

NOTE: Many people retain water for a couple of days after a long flight, so expect your weight to increase by up to 1 kg (2 lbs).[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]What to eat on a plane

Domestic travelers should be able to bring food on board. If so, prepare a simple meal such as boiled prawns, some celery sticks, your grissini and an apple or orange. Permissible P1 beverages will be available on board.

International travelers may be restricted from bringing food on board. If so, to avoid having to succumb to airline food, try to eat your Skinny Meal prior to boarding the aircraft.

If it is an early morning flight try to take your food onboard – e.g. 4 boiled eggs, one whole, whites only of three others, a cucumber, a grissini stick and an apple or orange. Normal P1 beverages will be available on board.

All travelers should be conscious of drinking plenty of water during the flight.

NOTE: In this picture, the shrimp/prawns, lettuce (without dressing), coffee and water are permissible. Nothing else is though.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_single_image image="10846" img_link_target="_self" img_size="full"][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_single_image image="10847" img_link_target="_self" img_size="full"][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]Attending a function during P1

If you cannot eat your Skinny Meal before attending the function, try taking a Skinny Meal with you to eat during the event.

If that is not possible and you must eat what is served your best choices are a small serving of salad without dressing or a steamed vegetable (preferably a permissible ingredient), steamed, grilled (broiled) or barbecued fish (white fish only. Request that the chef does not add sugar, fat or sauce.

You must strictly avoid alcohol – choose mineral water instead.

Do not eat any animal fat, butter or oil.

You must not have any starchy carbs including bread, pasta, rice, noodles, potato etc.

Skip dessert no matter how tantalizing it is.

NOTE:  Any deviation from the 500 calorie per day Skinny Meals will set you back around three days of weight loss.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width="1/2"][vc_column_text]
